My Treatment Chronology

40 year old man diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in 1996. Had multiple lines of treatment for multiple relapses include BMOPP-CA (PR), aborted mantle radiotherapy, treatment at MD Anderson with ESHAP protocol (PR), followed by Navelbine and Gemcitabine (PR), Consolidation high dose BEAM chemotherapy, autologous peripheral blood stem transplantation (PR), involved field radiotherapy to right axilla (CR), trial anti-CD30 monoclonal antibody (NR), Gemcitabine (NR), Treatment in German clinic with Vinblastine and Procarbazine (CR),  with mediastinal radiotherapy (CR), purified embryonic stem cells (CR), and Rituximab (CR). Patient had 8 years in full remission.

Newly presents with six month history of weight loss, altered bowel habit, a single episode of black tarry stool, new iron deficiency anaemia. Colonoscopy 2nd May 2013 was normal. CT showed retroperitoneal nodal recurrence.

Imaging reviewed:


PET scan shows number of nodes along the retroperitoneum with FDG uptake and no extra nodal sites of disease or disease seen elsewhere.
